Rossella Croce, baroque violin
Obtained her violin diploma with the highest marks at the Conservatory “A. Pedrollo” in Vicenza (IT) with Mestro F. Missaggia in 1998.
Since then she has specialised in early violin repertory at Scuola Civica in Milan (IT) and at The Hague Conservatory (NL) with Enrico Gatti and has attended several specialisation courses abroad.
She has intense concert activity in Italy and abroad, and performs in the most prestigious concert-halls and theatres worldwide. As a first violinist, she collaborates with the major ensembles specialising in early performing practice, including Ensemble Aurora, Accordone, Accademia Bizantina, Accademia Hermans, I Turchini, La Risonanza, Baroque Bozen Orchestra.
She has taken part in a number of radio recordings for RAI Radio 3, RSI, Deutsche Welle, Radio France, and the Dutch Radio, and has recorded for the most prestigious labels, such as Sony Classics, Cyprès, Naive, Amadeus, Classic Voice, Alpha, La Bottega Discantica, which has brought her compliments and awards.
